TRS has launched ‘Operation Akarsh’ to woo Congress MLAs into TRS fold. “Congress needs at least 12 MLAs to get the main opposition status in the 119-member assembly and in the event of TRS managing to cart away eight of its legislators, it would be successful in depriving the grand old party of opposition status,” a TRS leader said.
