As campaigning for Lok Sabha polls entered its final phase, PM Modi on Sunday predicted defeat of the opposition parties, saying people were voting for an effective government. Attacking the SP-BSP alliance, Modi said he had been CM of Gujarat more than the terms of Akhilesh and Mayawati as UP chief ministers combined, and there was no blot of corruption on him.
