A ball boy at the 2013 Hockey India League, a frustrated Hardik almost left Indian shores in 2017 to play club hockey overseas. But then his uncle and former India player Jugraj Singh made him sit down and think. Hardik finally stayed back and the 20-year-old is now part of India's World Cup squad.
