Kalpana accused UP Police of trying to malign her dead husband's character, she said, “The police had tried to malign my dead husband’s character and that of a nice and innocent girl, whom I know. They had no right to do so, but it is my fundamental right to seek justice and ask questions to the government on what has been thrown at us.”
