The Supreme Court on Friday refused to cancel election results on over 20,000 uncontested local body seats in West Bengal but allowed aggrieved persons 30 days time to challenge these results by filing election petitions. The SC allowed the notification of results of the panchayat seats that were won by TMC unopposed in May.
