The Supreme Court (SC) today dismissed a plea (PIL) seeking a Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe into the Nirav Modi scam. The SC said the allegations made in the PIL are unwarranted, uncalled for and reckless. It said such PILs have brought a bad name to pleas filed on the basis of newspaper reports and castigated such pleas for making personal allegations.
